Herdbook Update!

We've made some adjustments with IT's assistance to enhance the accessibility of the herdbook for everyone! There are now three distinct features, so here's a brief overview of each:

Feature 1: Search by USGOS Registration #

This feature lets you enter your USGOS Registration # to view the pedigree of a particular pig.

Feature 2: Full Directory

This feature enables you to search using filters, which is useful if you don't know the USGOS registration # but want to find pigs from a specific breeder, owner, bloodline, etc.

Feature 3: Trial Breeding

This feature allows for a hypothetical mating. You can input the potential sire and dam USGOS registration numbers to see the resulting pedigree for that mating.

We've designed this to be compatible with cell phones, as many people use their phones for these tasks nowadays! We hope this is helpful—please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns!
