About Us

​The USGOS Pig Society is the top registry for the Gloucestershire Old Spot (GOS) heritage breed of pigs in the United States. Our organization works with the Livestock Conservancy to remove the threatened status of the breed. We aim to preserve the bloodlines of the breed, provide a registry service for breeders, and educate the public by offering various resources for members, including educational articles, monthly newsletters, webinars, a breeders map, and a marketplace for buying and selling pigs.
